Description

Game Planner Maps makes the toughest most durable hunting maps in the outdoor industry. GAME PLANNER CUSTOM MAPS are printed on tear resistant and water resistant synthetic film. GAME PLANNER Hunting Maps are designed for hunters, by hunters, and stand-up to abrasion, water, UV light, and the demands of backcounty hunting. Each map is built and printed to your specifications. Free consultation is available on all custom map purchases. You will speak directly to the cartographer making your map. Custom Maps are designed for anyone who prefers the advantages of a traditional map. Game Planner Custom Maps are ideal for anyone who desires to see the big picture. Lead time on Custom Maps is approximately two weeks.

Game Planner Custom Maps are double sided and printed on water and tear resistant paper. Maps include a USGS Topographic base map, unit boundary, roads, trails springs and seeps, water bodies, wilderness area boundaries and specially designated areas (where applicable and when available). The default map size is 30X36″ and covers ~300 mi² at 1:36,000 scale. This scale is a good compromise between detail and coverage; and you still get the 1:24000 base map. A 30X36″ map provides a large area and enough detail to accurately read contours and terrain features. Other sizes are available. All maps are custom printed. Every attempt will be made to utilize 1:24,000 USGS topographic base maps, however, many hunt units cannot be mapped in their entirety using 1:24,000 base maps. In these instances it is recommended that the map be centered on a USGS Quad, Coordinate, or Landmark. Email info@gameplannermaps.com or call (480) 620-3309 for a consultation.

Map Extent is the area your map will cover. When deciding on extent its important to think about unit access and the areas you will hunt, as well as, the habitat of your quarry. Not all units will fit on one map. The larger the unit the larger the map size required.
